Description
WRIT 352. SCIENCE WRITING AND REPORTING. This course prepares students to interpret stories in natural, technical, and social sciences for various public audiences through multiple forms of media. It helps students assess how to develop a story for public consumption out of academic publications through creative work, research, and other journalistic techniques. Coursework includes analysis of published scientific articles and science writing and original short and long-form stories for various purposes. Alternate years, spring semester, three hours.
