SPAN 319. INTRODUCTION TO SPANISH CIVILIZATION. A study of Spanish history and civilization from pre-Roman times to the present. Through readings, videos, discussions and presentations, students explore the social, political, economic and cultural developments of Spain and its people. Prerequisite: Spanish 295 or 301. Alternate spring semesters, three hours.
