Description

SOCI 356. POVERTY AND STRATIFICATION. An overview of the nature and extent of poverty and stratification in the United States and the world, including consideration of empirical data, sociological theory, and Christian perspectives. Special attention will be given to private, faith-based solutions to chronic poverty. Prerequisite: Sociology 101 or 201. Three hours.
