PHYS 442. COMPUTATIONAL METHODS IN PHYSICS. An advanced course in the solution of physics problems using computer programming and numerical techniques for ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations, algebraic equations, spectral analysis, optimization, and numerical integration. Corequisites: Computer 141; Physics 303; and Mathematics 262 or Physics 242. Alternate years, spring semester only, three hours.
