Description
PHYS 421. ADVANCED TOPICS. An in-depth course in an advanced physics topic (or topics) chosen by the instructor. Content can vary from year to year but may be include areas such as general relativity, nuclear physics, elementary particle physics, solid-state physics, nanotechnology, etc. Prerequisites: Physics 234; and Mathematics 262 or Physics 242. Fall semester only, alternate years, three hours.
