PHYS 402. MEDICAL IMAGING AND DIAGNOSTIC PHYSICS. This course serves as an introduction to x-ray radiography and advanced diagnostic medical imaging techniques like x-ray tomography (CAT), ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, and positron emission tomography. Prerequisite: Physics 234 or permission of instructor. Alternate years, spring semester, three hours.
