MECE 360. INDEPENDENT STUDY. Individual study of specialized topics in mechanical engineering. Junior standing, permission of the department chair, and a faculty sponsor are required. A combined total of up to three credit hours for independent study, independent research, and honors courses can be applied towards one of the following: Mechanical Systems, Thermal Systems, or Technical Electives. Semester course, one, two or three hours.
