Description
MECE 211. MECHANICS I. Static equilibrium of particles and rigid bodies; analysis of structures, trusses, and cables; friction; centroids and moments of inertia; methods of virtual work; and energy are addressed. Engineering applications are also incorporated. Prerequisites: Mathematics 162 and Physics 101. Fall semester only, three hours.
