Description

EXER 331. PRINCIPLES OF STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING. This course will cover all pertinent topics related to strength and conditioning. This includes an overview of body systems, adaptation to different training methods, testing and evaluation, exercise techniques, general program design, and facility management. This course will serve as preparation for students who will be taking certification tests in strength and conditioning such as the National Strength and Conditioning Association, American College of Sports Medicine, or American Council of Exercise certification tests. Prerequisite: Physical Education 102 or 112. Semester course, three hours.
