ENGL 243. 20th CENTURY ENGLISH NOVEL. A study of the themes and technical developments which emerge in the novels of such authors as Woolf, Forster, Joyce, Waugh, Greene, and selected contemporary authors. Prerequisite English 202 or by permission. Alternate years, three hours.
