Description

ELEE 404. RF ENGINEERING. A study of the fundamentals of radio-frequency engineering, including the concepts of resonance, impedance matching, distributed circuits, directional couplers, and filter design. The basics of electromagnetic theory and wave propagation are also covered, along with the use of tools such as matrix analysis and the Smith chart. Prerequisite: Mathematics 262. Fall semester, three hours.
