Description
BUSA 440, ADVANCED CORPORATE FINANCE. This course focuses on the processes and procedures employed by financial managers to help ensure that actions taken enhance shareholder value. Topics include applications of net present value and options pricing models to capital budgeting decisions, techniques for determining the cost of capital, valuation and performance measurement, mergers and acquisitions, and risk analysis and management. This course will emphasize the use of spreadsheets for model building and analysis. Prerequisites: Business 301 Spring semester only, three hours.
