BUSA 304. LEGAL ENVIRONMENT OF BUSINESS. Managers need to be prepared to understand and navigate the complex world of federal and state regulation on topics such as employment law, antitrust law, environmental law, consumer protection law, internet law, intellectual property law, and securities law. This course not only provides a thorough consideration of the applicable law, but also addresses the ethical principles, fundamental values, and policy issues relevant to each topic. Prerequisite: Business 303 or Entrepreneurship 303. Semester course, three hours.
