Description
STAT 414. ADVANCED ANALYTICAL METHODS. This course will explore in detail how to conduct non-linear analysis. Optimization techniques will focus on non-integer as well as integer programming problems. Stochastic modeling techniques will be presented by way of coding systems of non-normal distributions. Queueing theory will also be studied. Students will have the opportunity to code basic simulations. Prerequisite: Statistics 331. Spring semester, three hours.
