SPAN 202. INTERMEDIATE SPANISH II. Continuation of Spanish 201. Further development of interpersonal communication at the intermediate level while encouraging communication at the advanced level on the ACTFL scale. Students develop greater facility with paragraph-length discourse in writing. Students seek wisdom by interacting with cultural practice, perspectives, products and productions (e.g. music and texts) from the Spanish-speaking world, while also acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary for successful cross-cultural communication. Taught in Spanish. Prerequisite: Spanish 201 or placement exam. Three hours.
