Description

SPAN 201. INTERMEDIATE SPANISH I. This course is appropriate for students who have completed Spanish 101 and 102. Classroom activities encourage interpersonal communication at the intermediate level along with continued application of grammar to speaking, reading, and writing. Students develop their ability to produce paragraph-length writing and expand their command of intermediate-level vocabulary. Cultural awareness continues to be emphasized through the examination of products, practices and perspectives from throughout the Spanish-speaking world. Taught in Spanish. Prerequisite: Spanish 102 or placement exam. Three hours.
