SPAN 102. ELEMENTARY SPANISH II. Continuation of Spanish 101. Further development of practical novice- to intermediate-level communication skills including listening, speaking, reading, writing. Students acquire cultural knowledge through continued exposure to cultural products, practices, perspectives and they engage in cross-cultural comparisons. Taught in Spanish. Prerequisite: Spanish 101 or placement exam. Three hours.
