SEDU 412. PRACTICUM OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. As an extension of the student teaching experience, student teachers will participate in a practicum experience including course work, assignments, and interaction with the college supervisor while exploring topics that are important to the development of the Professional Special Educator. Thus, the course will support the student teacher in applying theory to practice during the student teaching experience. Additionally, topics of professional responsibilities, confidentiality issues, and current issues in special education will be discussed. Corequisite: Special Education 411. Semester course, one hour.
