PSYC 212. CHILD PSYCHOPATHOLOGY. This course provides an overview of the major psychological disorders affecting children and adolescents. Emphasis is placed on classification, etiology, and assessment. Contemporary trends and legislative actions that affect prevalence rates and/or treatment will also be considered. Prerequisites: Education 102, or Psychology 101 or 209. Three hours.
