Description
PSYC 212: CHILD PSYCHOPATHOLOGY. This course provides an overview of the major psychological disorders affecting children and adolescents. Emphasis is placed on classification, etiology, and assessment. Contemporary trends and legislative actions that affect prevalence rates and/or treatment will also be considered. Prerequisites: Psychology 101, 209 or Education 102. Semester course, three hours.
