	Description
		
			PHYS 431. QUANTUM MECHANICS. A study of wave-particle duality, the Bohr atom, and the development of quantum mechanics and its application to the periodic table and the nucleus and solving the Schrödinger equation for several 1D systems and for the Bohr atom. Prerequisites: Physics 234, 303, and Mathematics 262 or Physics 242. Spring semester, three hours.
