Description

PHIL 313. ETHICS. The central question of ethics is “How should we live?” This course examines several theories concerning the norms governing human life. Topics may include the nature of happiness, the role of virtue in a life well lived, the relationship between moral rules and right action, the functions of reason and the passions in practical rationality and more. Alternate years, three hours.
