MUSI 331. MUSIC HISTORY I. A survey of music in Western civilization from ancient Greece to 1750. This course, along with Music 221 and 332, meets the Writing Intensive (WI) and Information Literacy (IL) requirements for music majors. Prerequisite: Humanities 301. Semester course, three hours.
