MUSI 321. MIDI SEQUENCING AND SOUND PRODUCTION. This course is designed to give students advanced, in-depth practice and training in the usage of a digital audio workstation program toward the end of being a proficient user of such programs. Major topics will include (but not necessarily be limited to) quantization, automation, dynamic pitch shifting, sampling, analog synthesis, and wavetable synthesis. Three hours.
