MUSI 219. BEGINNING CONDUCTING. A study of the fundamentals of conducting and rehearsal strategies with an emphasis on beginning instrumental and choral techniques. Emphasis is placed on developing baton technique and hand gestures, score study, and developing a comprehensive approach to conducting. Semester course, one hour.
