MUSI 125. PIANO CLASS III. The third in a sequence of piano courses, this course is intended for students who have acquired the basic skills developed in Music 124 Piano Class II. The course includes: intermediate level repertoire by standard composers; all major scales, two octaves, hands together; chord progressions I-IV-V-I in major and minor keys; harmonization using I, IV 6/4, and V 6/5 chords in major and minor keys; and sight-reading easy pieces with minimal changes of position; and transposing of simple melodies.
