Description
MECE 326. HEAT TRANSFER. The fundamentals of heat transfer by conduction, convection, and radiation; application to practical heat transfer devices; engineering analysis of heat exchangers; and design problems solved by analytical, numerical, and computer methods. Prerequisites: Mechanical Engineering 214, Physics 340, or Chemistry 346; and Mechanical Engineering 325. Spring semester only, three hours.
