Description

HIST 224. MODERN AFRICAN HISTORY. A survey of the peoples, events, and ideas/ideologies that have shaped the history of Africa from 1800 to the present. Special emphasis is given to the relationship between European imperialism and the current problems plaguing modern Africa. Alternate fall semesters, three hours.
