Description
HIST 204. HISTORICAL AND PHILOSOPHICAL FOUNDATIONS OF EDUCATION. A survey of the historical and philosophical foundations of education from antiquity to the present day. It includes an analysis of political, sociological, and economic issues related to American education with emphasis upon understanding the contributions of Christianity, Western Civilization and the field of education. Three hours.
