Description

GEOL 201. PHYSICAL/ ENVIRONMENTAL GEOLOGY. A study of the internal and external forces affecting the surface of earth and the distribution of geologic resources and the environmental impacts on the extraction and use of these resources. This course is also designed to relate the historical and current geologic activity to the local ecology and land use planning. Alternate years, spring semester only, three hours.
