	Description

FREN 102. ELEMENTARY FRENCH II. The second of a two-semester novice sequence that moves students towards functional proficiency in the four skill areas (reading, writing, listening, speaking) while increasing their cultural literacy of the French-speaking world (including regions in Europe, Africa, and North America). This course continues to reinforce successful communication skills through increased exposure to and use of cultural productions in order to confidently build on formulas and complex sentence utterances at the oral and written capacity. Taught in French. Prerequisite: French 101 or placement exam. Three hours.
