FNCE 432. INVESTMENTS. This course examines a variety of topics commonly associated with investment in publically traded securities and mutual funds. It examines ways in which financial market data is utilized as inputs into models for asset pricing and portfolio management. It also explores topics such as index construction, portfolio performance assessment, and risk management techniques. The course will emphasize the use of spreadsheets for model building and analysis. Prerequisite: Finance 301. Fall semester only, three hours.
