EXER 344. LIFE CYCLE NUTRITION. EXER 344. LIFE CYCLE NUTRITION. Exploration of nutrient needs throughout different life stages of pregnancy, infancy, childhood, adolescence, and older adulthood. Content will focus on the special nutritional needs of each life stage for optimal growth and development, maturation, aging, and overall health and well-being. This course will increase and refine students’ pre-professional experience in helping people throughout the life cycle, improving their health and reducing the risk of chronic diseases. Prerequisite: Exercise Science 101 or 134 or Biology 101. Spring semester and summer online, three hours.
