Description
EXER 312. DIET, EXERCISE, AND CHRONIC DISEASE. This course will focus on prevalent chronic diseases including obesity, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, dyslipidemia; the pathophysiology and etiology of these conditions; and the role of lifestyle factors such as diet and exercise in disease prevention and treatment. Prerequisite: Exercise Science 244 and 256. Spring semester only, three hours.
