Description

EXER 308. TACTICAL STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING. This course introduces the practical skills necessary to work in the field of Strength and Conditioning. Students will learn proper coaching cues, movement patterns, lifting techniques, and communication skills required to perform common Strength and Conditioning movements safely and successfully in the weight room. This course will provide an introduction to both sport performance and general population coaching and instruction. These foundational components of movement efficiency are vital to the field of Strength and Conditioning, more specifically, the Personal Training profession. Prerequisites: Exercise Science 230 and 307. Spring semester, two hours.
