Description

EXER 223. RED CROSS LIFEGUARD TRAINING. The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding program is to provide entry-level lifeguard candidates with the skills and knowledge to prevent, recognize, and respond to emergencies and to provide care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. It is a certification course for American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/PR, AED, and First Aid. An additional fee is charged for this course. Two and one-half hours/week. Offered periodically, two hours.
