Description

ENTR 408. SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP PRACTICUM. Using case studies, lectures, and hands-on exercises, this course clarifies and illustrates the steps necessary to prepare to launch a social enterprise. Topics include the idea generation, business models, organizational structure, staffing, governance, funding, and measurement of social impact. Over the course of the semester, students will prepare business plans for their own social enterprises. Students may only receive credit for one of International Business 408 or Entrepreneurship 408. Three hours.
