Description

ENTR 302. SALES IN THE STARTUP. The purpose of this course is to understand the theory and practice of sales as it is approached in the environment of a startup business. The class will explore strategic selling methodologies, such as partnership development, channel development, and seminar-based sales, as well as specific sales skills and techniques. Students will learn about the particular challenges of selling in the context of a newly launched business, and they will have the opportunity to meet and interact with sales professionals who have specialized in this sales context. Throughout the course, students will have opportunities to practice sales skills. Three hours.
