Description
ENGR 420. CHEMICAL REACTION ENGINEERING. This course introduces students to the fundamentals of chemical reaction engineering, including reactor sizing and design. Topics include rate laws, kinetics, isothermal and nonisothermal reactor design, and homogeneous and heterogeneous reaction systems. Prerequisites: Engineering 320; Corequisite: Mechanical Engineering 326. Alternate years, spring semester only, three hours.
