ENGR 340. FUNDAMENTALS OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING. This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the interdisciplinary field of biomedical engineering. It is designed to equip students with the foundational knowledge, principles, and skills necessary to understand and contribute to the development of cutting-edge medical technologies, devices, and health care solutions. Students will be prepared to pursue further studies in specialized areas of biomedical engineering, contribute to research and development in the field, and address critical healthcare challenges through innovative engineering solutions. Spring semester, three hours.
