Description

ENGR 320. SEPARATION PROCESSES. The course provides the fundamentals of separation processes related to chemical engineering applications. Topics include distillation, absorption, stripping, and membrane separation. Examples are drawn from a variety of applications, including bioprocessing and nanotechnology. Prerequisites: Engineering 220 and one of Mechanical Engineering 214, Chemistry 346, or Physics 340. Alternate years, fall semester only, three hours.
