ENGR 220. CHEMICAL ENGINEERING FUNDAMENTALS. This course prepares students to formulate and solve material and energy balances on chemical process systems. Examples are drawn from a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, food processing, and petrochemical. Prerequisites: Chemistry 105 or 112 and 114; and Mathematics 161. Alternate years, spring semester only, three hours.
