211. MECHANICS I. Static equilibrium of particles and rigid bodies; analysis of structures, trusses, and cables; friction; centroids and moments of inertia; methods of virtual work; and energy. Engineering applications. Prerequisites: Physics 101, Mathematics 162, and Engineering 136. Fall semester only, three hours.
