Description
ENGL 488. HONORS SEMINAR. Junior and senior English majors who have demonstrated a special aptitude for literary theory and criticism may, with the consent of the department chair, participate in this advanced seminar experience. Each student will undertake an advanced independent study project, keep a research journal, report weekly on research progress, present a finished 35-50-page paper to the English faculty, and provide a public presentation and defense of the research project. Prerequisite: English 450. Spring semester only, three hours.
