ENGL 306. ENGLISH RENAISSANCE: SPENSER TO MILTON. A survey of major English writers of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries from Spenser, Donne, and Jonson to John Milton. Prerequisite: English 201 or by permission. Alternate years, three hours.
