ENGL 304. CHAUCER AND THE MIDDLE AGES. An introduction to the literature and art of the Middle Ages, from Beowulf, through Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and The Canterbury Tales, to the religious drama of the later Middle Ages. Prerequisite: English 201. Alternate years, semester course, three hours.
