Description
ENGL 204. AMERICAN LITERATURE SURVEY II. The second semester of the two-semester survey of American literature focuses on representative works from post-Civil War to the late 20th century. Attention is concentrated on major writers and their works in each period with some consideration given to all genres except drama. Non-English majors may enroll in 204 without having taken 203, but English majors are strongly encouraged to take 203 before 204. Three hours.
