Description
ELEE 416. ANTENNA ANALYSIS AND DESIGN. This course begins with an introduction to basic antenna theory. Next, antenna-modeling software is introduced to the class, including a tutorial on how to use it. This software is then utilized to analyze and design a variety of antennas, including vertical monopoles, arrays of monopoles, horizontal dipoles, Yagi-Uda arrays, and log-periodic dipole arrays. Prerequisite: Electrical Engineering 304. Semester course, 1 hour.
