Description
EDUC 343. TRENDS AND ISSUES IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION. This course examines contemporary trends and issues surrounding early childhood education discussing sociological, psychological, political, and economic forces shaping contemporary families, children, and schooling. Current educational practices, curriculum, and administration of programs are integral topics included in this study. Senior level course. Prerequisites: Education 281 or Special Education 203, and Education 342. Semester course, three hours.
