Description
EDUC 324. TEACHING ELEMENTARY SOCIAL SCIENCES. A study of resources and methods of teaching PreK-8 social studies including history, geography, civics, and economics. This course also emphasizes the development of competencies associated with the use of audio-visual equipment and materials. Directed field experience in the elementary and middle schools is required. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing. Fall Semester only course, three hours.
