208. FUNDAMENTALS OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION. This course will provide an introduction to environmental education. The implications of the definition of environmental education will be explored, and the resulting paradigm will be developed. Topics addressed will include the history of and current trends in environmental education; the scope and sequence of our program; the interrelatedness of environmental science, economics, sociology, political institutions and processes, and technology in relation to environmental management; an introduction to methodology for the informal sector; issue formation and articulation; and einvironmental problem solving.
